Terranova Vila Rica - A Tribute to Minas Gerais and Brazilian Baroque Sacred Art
Vila Rica is our most authentic creation, deeply rooted in the Baroque and Rococo sacred art that flourished in Brazil during the 17th and 18th centuries. Its aesthetic draws from classicism and the ornamental vocabulary of the Baroque, reinterpreted in a compact and contemporary form. Its visual language evokes an object that could belong to an 18th-century cabinet of curiosities, translated for the wrist of the 21st century.
More than 200 years of history
Since 1788, the clock of Santo Antônio Church has marked the passage of time in Tiradentes, Minas Gerais.
Its dial inspired the Vila Rica collection, a contemporary reinterpretation of this historic symbol.
